Terms of service

Last updated 22 October 2026PrivacyTerms

The agreement

These terms are between you and [TODO: legal name of the operator / company] (“we”) and cover your use of Wirebook at wirebook.app, its API and its MCP server. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data.

Beta service

Wirebook is in active development and is currently free. Features may change, and we may introduce paid plans — if we do, we'll tell you in advance and nothing you already have will be taken away without notice. The service is provided “as is”; we work hard to keep your data safe, but please keep your own copy of anything important (Menu → Plan & usage → “Download all maps”).

Your account

You need to be at least 16. You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your API keys secret — anyone holding a key can read your maps and propose changes to them. Revoke a key immediately if it leaks.

Your content

You own what you put into Wirebook. You give us a limited licence to store, process and display it only to provide the service to you. We don't claim ownership of it and don't use it to train AI models.

You're responsible for having the right to upload what you upload. Don't store secrets such as passwords or production credentials in maps.

Acceptable use

Don't use Wirebook to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone else's rights;
  • store or distribute malware or content that is illegal to hold;
  • probe, overload or get around the service's security or usage limits, or access another user's data;
  • resell or provide the service to others as your own without our permission.

Automated use through the API and MCP server is welcome within the published limits. We may pause agent writes or suspend accounts that put the service at risk.

AI output

Maps, diagrams and changes generated by an AI agent you connect can be wrong or incomplete. Review them before relying on them. Changes from agents to an existing map arrive as proposals for you to accept or reject.

Third-party icons

Diagrams can use the official architecture icons that Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud provide for drawing architecture diagrams. AWS, the AWS service names and their icons are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. Microsoft, Azure, the Azure service names and their icons are trademarks of the Microsoft group of companies. Google Cloud, the Google Cloud product names and their icons are trademarks of Google LLC. Brand logos belong to their owners. Their use here doesn't imply any endorsement.

Ending things

You can delete your account at any time from Menu → Plan & usage. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms; unless the breach is serious or the law prevents it, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to export your data.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data you could have prevented by keeping your own copy, and our total liability to you is limited to [TODO: cap — e.g. the greater of £100 or what you paid us in the last 12 months]. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

Changes and law

We'll give reasonable notice in the app before material changes take effect. These terms are governed by the law of [TODO: jurisdiction, e.g. England and Wales]. Questions: support@wirebook.app.
